Painting by Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida

"Wisdom comes with the ability to be still. Just look and just listen. No more is needed. Being still, looking, and listening activates the non-conceptual intelligence within you. Let stillness direct your words and actions."

Eckhart Tolle

What do you know of me and what do I know of you?

Art : Jarek Puczel

"When you stand in front of me and look at me, what do you know of the grief's that are in me and what do I know of yours? And if I were to cast myself down before you and tell you, what more would you know about me than you know about Hell when someone tells you it is hot and dreadful? For that reason alone we human beings ought to stand before one another as reverently, as reflectively, as lovingly, as we would before the entrance to Hell."

Canan Berber "Turki"

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

Happiness comes and goes.
Happiness gives us a lot of relief from tension.
Happiness teaches us what the life means.
Happiness makes us forget all our sorrows.
Happiness gives us a new lesson of surviving in our life.
Had there been no happiness,
Life would have been like a hell.
Happiness makes you feel happy at every time.
Joke, laughter, playing entertainment is all about happiness.
Happiness never ends; it ends when you feel sad around you.
Happiness becomes your friend when you are very happy.

Happy Hanukkah!

Happy Hanukkah!

the holiday of light. my brothers and sisters , humans!
lets walk in the light and not in the dark, lets choose free love and not free hate .
religious, languages and clotures are only the path in the same way where our souls will meet .
i wish for us peace upon us within us and from us .

Feeling lonely

Why am I feeling very much lonely?
What's wrong with me?
I don't know.
I have no friends.
I have no happiness.
I have nothing to do right now.
I feel lonely because everyone is moving.
I can't stop them from going.
It is the law of nature.
Feeling lonely is useless for me.
Feeling lonely won't give me anything.
It will make me lose in myself for good.
It is better to forget my loneliness.
Life has to go on.
Nobody waits for anyone.
So why should I wait?

Closing eyes

Art : Lyse Marion

Closing eyes

If I close my eyes,

I find myself in the other world.

I stay away from the tension.

I feel myself connected myself to the reality of the world.

What is true and what is false?

I start understanding.

The knowledge of conscience enters my mind.

The truth is next to me.

The world appears nothing but cipher.

The almighty's hand is over my head.

One Summer Night

"One summer night, out on a flat
headland, all but surrounded by the
waters of the bay, the horizons were
remote and distant rims on the edge
of space. Millions of stars blazed in
darkness, and on the far shore a few
lights burned in cottages. Otherwise
there was no reminder of human life.
My companion and I were alone with
the stars: the mistry river of the
Milky Way flowing across the sky, the
patterns of the constellations
standing out bright and clear, a
blazing planet low on the horizon. It
ooccurred to me that if this were a
sight that could be seen only once in
a century, this little headland would
be thronged with spectators. But it
can be see many scores of nights in
any year, and so the lights burned in
the cottages and the inhabitants
probably gave not a throught to the
beauty overhead; and because they
could see it almost any night,
perhaps they never will."

~ Rachel Carson ~
